This Privacy Policy explains how Jimis Burger LLP ("Jimis", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, shares, and protects your personal data whenever you interact with us, whether by visiting our restaurants, accessing or using our website, online ordering platform, future mobile applications, or any other products, services, or communication channels we make available (collectively, the "Platform").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made thereunder, and all other applicable laws of India.

By creating an account, verifying your phone number using a one-time password (OTP), placing an order, accessing, or otherwise using the Platform and/or Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use, disclosure, storage, and processing of your personal data as described herein, including where your consent is required under applicable law. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Platform. Your use of our Platform is also strictly governed by our Terms & Conditions.

2. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to all digital ordering, browsing, loyalty, and communication channels operated by Jimis, including our online ordering platform, website, any future mobile applications, Instagram interactions (including direct messages and comments), and any WhatsApp, SMS, email, or web-push communications we send (collectively, the "Platform").

This Privacy Policy does not apply to your in-restaurant dine-in experience, which is governed by your bill receipt, our in-store practices, and applicable consumer and food safety laws. It also does not apply to any third-party websites, applications, or services that you may access through links on the Platform, which are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of use.

If we introduce native mobile applications in the future, they may request additional device permissions, such as access to push notifications, the camera (for features such as QR code scanning or receipt uploads), or your device's location where required to provide specific functionality. We will only request permissions that are necessary for the relevant feature or service.

3. Who Can Use the Platform

The Platform is for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has used the Platform or given us personal data, please contact our Grievance Officer and we will delete it.

We may collect personal information when you visit our restaurants, access or use our website, online ordering platform, any future mobile applications, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

Where such information is required, we may be unable to provide the requested service if you choose not to provide it.

We, and our vendors who provide services to us, use cookies, web beacons (including meta pixels and UTM tags), and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, keep you logged in, maintain your shopping cart, analyse usage, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and, where permitted, deliver personalised advertising. When you use our online services, we (and our vendors who provide services to us) may collect information about your activities so that we can provide you with advertising tailored to your interests. Our Platform may also incorporate third-party tools, widgets, plug-ins, or social media features, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) social plug-ins or similar technologies. Jimis Burger primarily stores and processes your personal data in India. However, some of our trusted service providers may process or store data outside India to help us operate our Platform and provide our services. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we do so only in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable law, and require our service providers to implement appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect your personal data. They may use your personal data only for the purposes for which it was shared and in accordance with our instructions.

We may update this Policy from time to time. For material changes - such as changes to what we collect, share, or your rights - we will ask you to accept the updated Policy on your next login.
